5 Alive is a new game designed for everyone to experience what rugby is like. We have made the game as simple as possible with only 5 rules, 5 minutes, 5 players, and on a small field - 1/4 the size of a full rugby field. The grades will be shared equally with like playing against like. Boys and girls can play the game. Fun, Fast, Friends.

Location: Owen Delaney Park, Taupō
Wahine Toa U15 “Taupō 10’s" is a 10-aside 2 day tournament held in the event capital of NZ. Games are played on the number 1 field at Owen Delany Park- one of the best rugby playing surfaces in the country. Morning & night time sessions with the night sessions played under the flood lights. Good music played throughout the day with other attractions taking place throughout the 2-3 days.

This is a one day Rippa festival targeted at year 9 and 10's students. The festival gives new and experienced players the opportunity to play Rippa Rugby in a fun and safe environment. There is many ways to participate, put a team together and register, referee or put your hand up to volunteer for the day!
Format:
- Three grades, girls only, boys only & mixed
- Two halves, 7min each way with a 2min interval
- 10-12 players per team, 7 players on field, mixed teams must have 3 girls per team and 2 on the field at all times.
- The day will be between 9am and 3pm but more timings will be released once team entries have closed.

The Manawatu Rugby Junior Tournament Week Festival will take place on Wednesday 9th November at Queen Elizabeth College. Secondary School teams consisting of Year 9/10 students will battle it out in a Rip Rugby ToCurnament that will follow on from the Rugby World Cup, held here in New Zealand.

Rip Rugby offers year 10 students to connect with other year 10 students from other schools at the end of their 2nd year at college. Similar to our year 9 Festival, our year 10 event is providing a fun opportunity for kids to play our non contact form of the game.
Format
A 1 Day event, teams will play 4-5 games depending on entries. Games are 7 mins half. Boys and Girls Grades. Teams sizes unlimited. As this is a festival event no scores will be taken or finals played. Ultimate goal is to have FUN!

Year 7 & 8 Tackle 10’s tournaments for Boys & Girls. Carnival level participation event in memory of Jonty Carran who was an age group Southland Rugby representative who died unexpectedly in 2016. It is held in his hometown of Otautau. The community festival atmosphere promotes family, friendship and culture to rangatahi who can participate in a tournament representing their school/club and there are opportunities for boys and girls who are new to the sport to participate in a safe environment.
